CP: Wear prints. I don’t wear prints the rest of the year, but with tanned legs and wavy hair I feel they suit my summer wardrobe perfectly. I will wear a whole printed dress, wide leg printed pants, or a long, printed skirt with something plain on top, such as a classic white shirt or a cropped tee.
RS: Favourite summer trend?
a romantic stroll in the balmy evening after dinner too.
Barely-there sandals in a poppy colour like tangerine are THE shoe for summer. Whether with denim cutoffs or a beautiful dress, I love their look.
CP: Beware of the short
shorts. Take time to find a cut that suits you best. Also, don’t just opt for billowy dresses for the sake of it. Still work in some nice silhouettes to keep your relaxed look cute.

Real Style: What are the five staples we can’t live without this summer?
Cat Pope: I live in Rixo printed skirts during the summer. Last year, I had about three kinds in bright, bold and unusual prints that I would pair with a tee or a body suit. They are silk and so unique. A must-have!

CP: For SS19 tie-dye is back, which is really cool. I think people feel more free and more open
to wacky colour combos when
the weather is warm, so that has brought this back. You can ease

Ephemera swimsuits are
the most elevated and special swimsuits I have ever come across. Since swimsuits are really a part of your life throughout summer, they are so worth all of the special detail that designer Nicole [Banning] adds to her pieces.
RS: Best summer memory and what you were wearing?
CP: Last summer I went to
