2006, and was one of the most popular series on the now defunct The WB network. Fast forward 12 years, and The CW is airing a reboot of the series in hopes of striking fire a second time. While the new show still follows the story of three sisters who happen to be witches, the rest of the series will be much different. Madeleine Mantock (Into The Badlands), Melonie Diaz (The First Purge) and Sarah Jeffery (Shades of Blue) star.

RISING STAR
While you might not recognize her yet, Hanneke Talbot is someone you should keep
on your radar. She started acting at the age of five in school plays and local theatre, and when she was 18 she attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Her first acting credit was a small one in 2016 on the TV series Humans, and she has since appeared in the films Stockholm and Playing Dead. Her biggest role to date is in the upcoming film Rabid. It’s a remake of the 1977 David Cronenberg film of the same name, and in it she plays star Laura Vandervoort’s best friend Chelsea. Talbot is also keen on doing video game voiceover work, and her own comedy web-series online. With her background and talent, Talbot’s career is poised to take off very soon.

THE CONNERS
One of the biggest questions of the upcoming season is how will The Conners fare after ABC’s famous fall-out with Roseanne Barr. The series once known
as Roseanne will carry on without the familiar title and star, yet everything else is set to remain the same. The show will no doubt receive high-ratings at the start, but how long they stay high will depend on how good the series is, without the character who was the focus of the show since the beginning.

THE ROOKIE
This series starring Nathan Fillion (Castle) is based on true events. It follows the story of John Nolan, a 40-year-old man who moves from a small town to Los Angeles to fulfill his dream of becoming a police officer after an incident changes his life. As a rookie officer, Nolan tries to make his second shot at life count.
