Becoming Angie
when she is away from the spotlight. “As a mom, it’s challenging; it’s difficult to be away from my beautiful boy.”
No matter how busy her schedule is, Everhart prioritizes her young son, whom she describes as “my priority, always.” The mother and son duo also take an annual vacation to Aruba, which is a favourite holiday destination in their household. However, aside from the sun and beaches of the Dutch Caribbean island, Everhart also has oth- er top travel spots in mind. As a once jet-setting
model, she has warm memories of her former adopted home of Paris, and also loves London. “I have seven passports filled with stamps; I love to travel,” she declares.
The former model is also as pas- sionate about fashion as she was in the ’90s during her runway heyday. Back then, she worked with stylish names such as Christian Dior, Saint Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld, Ralph Lauren, Cal- vin Klein and Donna Karan. “I got to work with all the greats. It was such a beautiful time to be a model,” Ever- hart reflects.
For Fall 2018, she plans to main- tain her classic, elegant personal style, partly inspired by a woman close to her own heart. “My grandmother said ‘Always be a lady,’ so I took that to heart. I love a silk shirt, an Hermès bag or an Hermès scarf, a great pair of shoes. I can’t have anything that is rough touching my body. Also, be- cause I had cancer, I am very cautious of what I put in and on my body,” she says.
Everhart is certainly health con- scious, and her passion for a safe and healthy lifestyle has inspired a couple of new beauty col- laborations. Coming up, she is working with an all- natural, plant-based tooth whitening system called
Oralgen, and a body rub called Quanto.
Whether she is stealing the screen, embracing classic style or advocating for wellness, we are cer- tainly inspired by this timeless ’90s bombshell. It may be 2018, but it seems that Everhart’s star is
still rising.
