ith her porcelain complexion, pouty lips and big
green eyes, Amber Witcomb manages to perfectly
combine classic beauty with an edgy aesthetic. The
23-year-old Canadian model was born in England,
and moved with her family to Niagara-on-the-Lake,
Ontario, at age 13. Studying media and communi- cations at Brock University, Witcomb jumped into the fashion world
after being scouted at a music festival.
Four years later, the rest is history, with the sultry Witcomb domi-
nating the international catwalks. She has walked the runways for Prada, Dior and Stella McCartney, and was also the face of a Burberry campaign. This season, Witcomb covers luxury British publication 10 Magazine’s Spring 2018 issue, where she can be spotted wearing a Céline dress.
Whether she is rocking the runways or gracing covers, the gor- geous rising star has stayed true to her down-to-earth attitude. In a 2017 interview with CBC, she praised her fellow creative souls in the industry. “In this job, the creative people that I get to meet are prob- ably what drives me. I get to see people who are amazing at their craft. That makes me want to do more and succeed. Seeing the best makeup artists in the world or the best hairstylists in the world and how their brain works so differently and how they got to where they are is super cool,” she said.
Whether she is posting bare-faced sel es on Instagram or heading out in distressed denim, we’re keeping an eye out for this one, as Wit- comb is sure to stay erce for many seasons to come.
