Alida Joseph certainly knows how to strike a pose with her own unique beauty. Born in Calgary, raised in Vancouver and now based in New York, the 29-year-
old Dutch Canadian model (née Janice Alida—she is married to Egyptian Canadian photographer and designer Andrew John Joseph) was discovered while working at
Starbucks, and has never looked back. Joseph has already walked the runways for French fashion house Céline, and has been featured in Paper Magazine and Elle Japan. According to Vogue Paris, Joseph was also personally selected by designer Karl Lagerfeld to walk in Fendi’s Spring 2013 show. Fast forward
a few years, and the classic yet edgy beauty boasts an Instagram following
of 44,000. She also recently starred in the Copy. Print. Bold Beauty fashion film for Models.com, directed by Sebastian Mader. But it’s her personal style we covet as much as her campaigns. The model can often be seen in bodycon minidresses, distressed denim and chic white blouses. We’re looking forward to seeing more of her in the coming seasons.
