Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park, BC

This West Coast park is home to approximately 75 campsites that are run by Assiniboine Lodge. Its alpine lakes, glacier-clad mountains and wildflower meadows draw many Canadians year round. Operating on a first-come first-serve basis, the park is a popular destination for both seasoned and beginner campers. Its remote back-country location makes it accessible only by foot or helicopter. This campground and park is ideal for adventure seekers who enjoy hiking and mountain climbing.

Waterton Lakes National Park, AB

There are a number of campsites in Waterton Lakes National Park, from Belly River Campground to Pass Creek Winter Camp. Whether you want to bask in the sun or brave the Canadian winter, the park has accommodation options for all seasons. With over 200 trails to hike and a picturesque backdrop,  the park is where Alberta Prairies meet the peaks of the Rocky Mountains.

Grasslands National Park, SK

Located near the village of Val Marie, Grasslands National Park is home to Frenchman Valley and Rock Creek Campgrounds. If you explore the West Block’s Frenchman River Valley, you may catch a glimpse of some rare wildlife such as a black-footed ferret or short-horned lizard. Killarney Provincial Park, ON

Killarney Provincial Park is located in northern Ontario and offers back country, car and radio-free camping. Spanning 654 square kilometres, the park showcases the Georgian Bay Coast and the backdrop of Jack Pine hills. With over 50 lakes within the park, it’s a popular destination for portaging and offers a number of beaches and trails.

Five Island Provincial Park, NS

Nestled off the shores of the Bay of Fundy, Five Island Provincial Park is an East Coast favourite. It features 90-metre sea cliffs and some of the world’s highest tides. With over 80 campsites, this aquatic wonderland is perfect for beach combing, rock collecting, and clam digging.
