Alton Brown: EveryDayCook by Alton Brown, Ballantine Books: The funny host of Food Network’s Good Eats is back in action, with a new cookbook which features a variety of ideas for every meal of the idea. EveryDayCook includes unique and exotic recipes like buttermilk lassi, open sesame noodles and Roasted Chile Salsa. The book is said to pack 101 recipes, and hits the shelves on September 27.

100 Days of Real Food: Fast & Fabulous: The Easy and Delicious Way to Cut Out Processed Food by Lisa Leake, William Morrow Cookbooks: As the author of 100 Days of Real Food, food blogger Lisa Leake returns with a new tome which is set to quicken the pace of your kitchen. Her latest volume is said to include 100 recipes for healthy yet convenient meals and snacks. Leake’s varying meal ideas range from cinnamon raisin scones and slow cooker black bean soup to fish tacos. Look out for the book on shelves on October 25.

Cooking for Jeffrey: A Barefoot Contessa Cookbook by Ina Garten, Clarkson Potter: The host of the Food Network show Barefoot Contessa is known for her tempting dishes, and has written nine books previously. Ina Garten’s new cookbook showcases the personal side of her passion for the culinary arts, and explores the meals she prepares for her beloved husband Jeffrey. Cooking for Jeffrey shares her traditional favourites like Brisket with Onions and Leeks, and also delves into modern desserts like her apple pie bars. Garten’s latest book is officially released on October 25.

Appetites: A Cookbook by Anthony Bourdain and Laurie Woolever, Ecco: Acclaimed American chef Anthony Bourdain releases his first cookbook in a decade on October 25. The 60-year-old culinary pro has over 40 years of experience, and brings it all to the table in Appetites. Bourdain’s new book takes a closer look at his at-home entertaining and cooking tips, which are meant to help you host perfectly effective dinners.
