Kids Challenge The World’s Women To Dream Again #changedestiny

SKII_3

They say children are our future, but it can also be said that they are helping our present be stronger as well. From New York to China and Korea, luxury skincare line SK-II have gathered children from ten major cities across the world to help inspire adults to pursue their dreams once again.

For this particular event children approached adults in Madison Square Park in New York City and encouraged them to dream big, while inspiring them to share their dreams virtually on social media. In Beijing large posters of children and their dreams were plastered across the Great Wall of China, transforming the legendary structure into one large, inspirational landmark. But it was perhaps the events in Korea and Japan that were the most inspirational of them all.  After all the two countries had the highest percentage of women admitting that they had stopped pursuing their dreams.

In the video below you’ll meet several young women who believe they’ve gone in for counselling, but the words the counselor is speaking aren’t her own. She’s being fed lines from children who are watching the session from a hidden room, and it is they who are asking the women what their dreams are, and encouraging them to move forward and accomplish those dreams. In the end, during a dramatic reveal, the women are put face-to-face with the smiling children who continue to encourage them to never give up on their dreams.

The “Dream Again” events were held as a result of the first Global Dreams Index Survey, which revealed that half the world’s female population have given up on their dreams, and are unsatisfied with their current lives. These events are part of SK-II’s #changedestiny campaign that is designed to help empower women to take control of their future and achieve their aspirations.
