15th Affair (Women’s Murder Club) by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro, Little, Brown and Company: In 15^th Affair, protagonist Detective Lindsay Boxer is enjoying a happy marriage and home life when a strange disappearance changes everything. After a woman escapes from a murder scene at a hotel, Lindsay realizes that her husband Joe may be linked to this mystery blonde, who is connected to the CIA. Joe also suddenly disappears after a San Francisco plane crash, which gives Lindsay reason to believe that he is a suspect. In order to crack the case, she turns to the Women’s Murder Club for assistance.

End of Watch: A Novel (The Bill Hodges Trilogy) by Stephen King, Scribner: As the latest title from bestselling author Stephen King, 15^th Affair brings us back into the world of retired police detective Bill Hodges for the final book in the trilogy. This time, Hodges and his partner Holly Gibney are back on the case of infamous murderer Brady Hartsfield. Although Hartsfield has spent the past five years in a vegetative state at the Lakes Region Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic, it seems that he has mysteriously awakened. The killer is now planning to destroy the entire city, which means that Hodges and Gibney must put an end to him once and for all.

The City of Mirrors: A Novel (Book Three of The Passage Trilogy) by Justin Cronin, Ballantine Books: As the third book in author Justin Cronin’s The Passage Trilogy, this tome follows The Twelve and The Passage, and brings readers further into the saga of bloodthirsty vampires and destroyed civilization. In this newest title, The Twelve have been eliminated and survivors of their terrifying attacks are preparing for their new lives. However, the dangerous Father of the Twelve is still looming, and is ready to abolish the series’ brave young heroine Amy.

Foreign Agent: A Thriller (Scot Harvath) by Brad Thor, Atria/Emily Bestler Books: As a tale of espionage, Brad Thor’s thriller introduces us to former U.S. Navy SEAL Scot Harvath, who is working for a private intelligence agency. The politically oriented plotline also involves the deadly Sacha Baseyev, who is part of Russian Caucasus in Moscow. Meanwhile, Harvath must take a journey which leads him to destinations like  Syria, Vienna, Brussels, and Berlin, all in the pursuit of tackling terror.
