As we slowly move through February, taking time to enjoy the outdoors continues to be important for both physical and mental health. Getting outside for even a short period of time can do wonders for the spirit and mood. 

  1. Walk or take a hike.
  2. Take the kids tobogganing.
  3. Hit the local indoor or outdoor rink for some ice skating.
  4. Have an outdoor BBQ.
  5. Go snowmobiling.
  6. Make a bird feeder for the yard.
  7. Play a sport like hockey or even soccer in the snow.
  8. Consider visiting a hot springs.
  9. Try a winter run.
  10. Visit the local playground with the kids.
  11. Play in the snow. Build a snowman or a classic fort!
  12. Take the dog out for some fun at the local dog park.
  13. Ski or snowboard. Check local hills/resorts for availability.
  14. Visit a local botanical garden.
