Though Quebec’s Mont Tremblant is beautiful at any time of the year, the village truly comes alive during the winter. After the first snowfall, seasoned ski birds and snow bunnies arrive in packs in order to take advantage of some of the best slopes the country has to offer. Besides the region’s famous ski conditions, Mont Tremblant also boasts a number of exciting activities that are sure to delight the both the culture vulture or shopaholic among us. Hit the slopes

With 95 runs, nine chairlifts and two gondolas, the skiing and snowboarding opportunities in the region are vastly regarded as some of the top in the True North. With trails for beginners, intermediates, and even the most intrepid experts, there’s sure to be a trail to please every level of snow bunny out there. But be warned: with temperatures that can drop as low as -30 degrees Celsius, it’s essential to dress warmly for a day on the slopes.

Rejuvenate at the spas

If you’re more of an indoor person, take advantage of the many spas in the area. The Scandinave Spa is the most well known spa in Mont Tremblant, and offers traditional Scandinavian Baths as well as a variety of massages. Other spas near the mountain include the Fairmont’s Amerispa centre, which boasts a wide selection of treatments including facials, massages, and manicures. For that extra level of relaxation, the Mont Tremblant resort offers in-room massages.

Shop ‘til you drop

Tremblant’s beautiful European-style village boasts a variety of shops and boutiques that provide an fun activity away from the slopes. From artisanal crafts to luxe men’s fashion, these charming cobblestone streets have lots to offer. Visitors can indulge their sweet tooth inside Place Bonbon, an old fashioned candy store that sells macarons and chocolates, or grab some Canadian Alpine Ski Team approved workout gear at Helly Hansen.
