With fashion week season around the corner, the international runways are soon going to be lit up with breathtaking styles. Although Toronto Fashion Week is unfortunately cancelled this year, Canada is still home to a number of stylish locales. Here are the most fashionable cities in Canada:

Vancouver: Vancouver, one of Canada’s most ethnically diverse cities, is largely filled with colourful yet casual fashion and style. With its West Coast vibe, it has largely influenced style all over the world. With the creation of some of Canada’s largest retailers such as Lululemon, Vancouver has the reputation of transforming yoga pants into a fashion essential. Aritzia, another fan favourite was established in Vancouver, introducing chic, on-trend pieces for all fashion lovers. Some other local talent has made a splash in the international scene such as Herschel Supply Co. with their finest quality backpacks, bags and accessories, as we have seen their bags all around the world. Although Toronto Fashion Week has been cancelled this upcoming year, Canadians should look out for Vancouver Fashion Week which is taking place from September 19 through September 25. Toronto: Known as the smaller version of New York City, Toronto is notable for its large fashion following.  With chic areas like Yorkville, or more street style inspired like Queen West, Toronto has a lot of variety when it comes to fashion styles. With large streets filled with endless stores and a downtown Fashion District, fashion rules the diverse and edgy streets of the 6ix. With the creation of well-known Canadian brands such as Roots and Club Monaco, Toronto continues to grow in the fashion industry. With the endless amount of festivals hosted in various areas of Toronto, the festival and boho style also continues to grow and flourish. Montreal: Montreal is a city full of flair, style and innate fashion sense. With the modern French feel, fashion styles seem to be more European and trendy. Montrealer’s tend to push the fashion boundaries, mixing up styles and creating their own ones which is why street style is quite large in Montreal. From ready-to-wear fashion to haute couture, Montreal is a huge and diverse shopping center.
