Recently, the esteemed French designer Jean Paul Gaultier made a special visit to Toronto to speak at Toronto Fashion Week Spring 2018. The Yorkville-based event featured a panel sponsored by FIJI Water, where Gaultier engaged in conversation with American writer Derek Blasberg. Real Style was in attendance at the talk, and had an opportunity to hear Gaultier address the crowds.

As a Toronto-based sportswear label, Bustle Clothing was established in 2002 by lawyers and husband and wife team Shawn Hewson and Ruth Promislow. Fast forward 15 years later, and Bustle is known for their athleisure and funky yet sporty pieces for men and women. Recently, Real Style had a chance to speak to creative director Hewson backstage, following Bustle’s Spring 2018 show at Toronto Fashion Week.

With the revamped Toronto Fashion Week officially taking place in Yorkville this week, the local runways have brought us the latest and greatest creations from Canadian designers. From Lucian Matis to UNTTLD, Real Style reports on the front rows from the first two evenings of the three day festival.
