Last night, the festivities at Toronto Fashion Week SS19 officially came to a grand finale, with Day 3 of TFW wrapping up the three-day extravaganza of shows and panels. Over the past two days, Real Style had the opportunity to catch both rising and renowned Canadian designers on the Yorkville runways and in the RESET studio showroom. As we look back on the Spring 2019 season of Toronto Fashion Week, here’s our front row report on the latest Canadian trends for the season ahead.  

Last night, Real Style had a chance to attend the Karebear Community Fashion Fundraiser at the Thompson Hotel in Toronto. The fifth annual charitable event is the brainchild of Canadian beauty queen and philanthropist Kara Granger, and was co-hosted by Miss Canada Tourism Hollyann Carroll.

With the Fall 2018 season at Toronto Fashion Week well underway, Yorkville Village has temporarily been home to a series of eclectic studio shows and high-drama runways. From rising label Nonie to signature rocker couture at Hendrixroe, here’s our runway report from Day 2 of Toronto Fashion Week.

Although the international runways may have wrapped up their shows, fashion season is in full swing in Toronto with the sophomore term of Toronto Women’s Fashion Week. TW, which was launched earlier this year, is currently presenting its lineup of Spring 2018 collections from Canadian designers. Real Style was seated front row and centre for Day 1 and Day 2 of the shows.

Toronto-based designer Jordan Erin McKay is known for the edgy signature pieces at her luxury label Hendrixroe. Real Style spoke to McKay about her new Pulchritudinous Genesis line, along with her fall style essentials.
