Denim On Denim Makes A Return To The Runways
As we prepare for springtime days, it’s certainly a relief to abandon our thick layers for the comfort of lightweight toppers. Although rainy days and chilly mornings aren’t completely a matter of the past just yet, denim on denim just might help to launch your style into the season ahead. Try trading your faux fur for sleek denim, and drawing your sartorial cues from the Spring 2018 runways. Here are a few designer approved looks that will allow you to revamp your jeans right now.
Adam Selman
We are liking this flowery take on the head-to-toe denim trend, as spotted at Adam Selman. This zippered jean jacket features colourful embroidered flowers on the sleeves, along with matching embroidery on the skinny jeans. For a finishing touch, the look of sky-high platform sandals brings a vaguely vintage vibe to the overall ensemble.
Calvin Klein
At Calvin Klein, the approach to this trend was considerably more edgy and rebellious. This particular outfit makes a splash with its dark wash denim, flared jeans and contrasting red abstract print panels.
Tibi
Tibi jumped into the trend with a funky cropped jean jacket and high-waisted jeans. Simple accessories helped to create a neutral and wearable look which brought the denim to entirely new levels. We are liking this navy blue leather crossbody bag, along with the pointed toe white and blue shoes.
