Pajar Bionda Boots, $475: As a family-owned company, Pajar was founded in Montreal in 1963 by Paul Golbert, a French immigrant. Golbert used the first letters of his own first name, along with the names of his son Jacques and wife Rachel, to create the label’s moniker. Known for its collection of outerwear and boots, the Montreal-based brand become the official provider for the Canadian Alpine Ski Team in 1989.
