Today, former Suits star Meghan Markle officially tied the knot with Prince Harry, in a Royal Wedding which took place at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. The 36-year-old bride looked elegant and timeless as she walked up the aisle, wearing an ivory Givenchy Haute Couture gown which was custom designed by artistic director Clare Waight Keller.
This morning, the luxury French fashion house posted two photos on Instagram of Markle wearing the dress. One features the beautiful bride sharing a kiss with the 33-year-old prince, in which she clutches a bouquet of white flowers. Markle’s long, sheer white 16 foot veil was adorned with a lacy trim, while the Givenchy gown featured a modest boat neckline and ladylike three-quarter sleeves. Meanwhile, the defined waistline, pleated, structured hem and flowing train completed the overall design.

In a second Instagram shot, the new bride can be spotted walking up a set of steps with two young pageboys holding the ends of her veil. The seven-year-old twins, John and Brian Mulroney, are the children of Canadian television personality Ben Mulroney and his wife, Jessica.
Although the bridal gown itself may have a simple, conservative silhouette, the elaborate veil offered a finishing touch, which was worthy of a princess. Congratulations to the newly married royal couple as they ring in their nuptials!
