With the 73^rd annual Venice Film Festival in session until September 10, Hollywood stars have officially descended upon the breathtaking Italian city to grace the red carpets. In particular, metallic textures and sparkling embellishment have been common themes at the premieres, with stars stepping out in all their glittering glory. From Amy Adams to Dakota Fanning, here’s a closer look at the most beautifully attired celebrities at this year’s festival.

Amy Adams

The 42-year-old actress was a stunning sight at the premiere of the fashionable flick Nocturnal Animals, which is directed by designer Tom Ford. Staying loyal to the film, Adams looked radiant in a metallic rose gold creation. Her one-shouldered gown featured a single long sleeve, form-fitting long hem and plenty of shimmer. Meanwhile, the warm metallic hue flattered her porcelain complexion and signature fiery locks.

Emma Stone

At the premiere and opening of La La Land, 27-year-old star Emma Stone arrived in an embellished silver gown from Atelier Versace’s Fall 2016 collection. The figure-skimming sleeveless number featured a high collar, fringed detail and trendy car wash pleats. Her strappy silver sandals completed the look, and perfectly flattered her shining silvery frock.

Dakota Fanning

Dakota Fanning brought her style to shimmering new heights at the premiere of upcoming mystery thriller film Brimstone. The 22-year-old actress, who stars alongside Kit Harington in the movie, dazzled in an iridescent Miu Miu design. Her gown offered a vague mermaid inspired vibe, and featured shimmering pale blue and violet sequins. The thin black spaghetti straps, embellished black ribbon belt and trailing hem also created the ultimate red carpet statement.
