For fashionistas who are fans of Kenzo, it looks like exciting news is in the air. The French fashion house, which was founded by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada, is now set to collaborate with H&M.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, the Swedish fast fashion retailer and Kenzo will be joining forces on a limited edition capsule collection. The upcoming line is slated to be launched in 250 H&M locations and online on November 3.
WWD reports that the new Kenzo x H&M collection will feature menswear, womenswear and accessories. The clothing retailer also issued a statement, which described its decision to partner with Kenzo creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon.
“Global influences and traditions are remixed and fused with the energy of the street, resulting in collections that are both inspirational and accessible to their fans around the world. At Kenzo, fashion expresses freedom, joy and individuality for all,” said H&M.
On their official Instagram account, Kenzo also shared a short video which officially announced the new collaboration. Staying true to the label’s signature eclectic style, the clip offered a glimpse of funky colours and bold, bright patterns.
Although it may be too early to start shopping the collection, we’re sure that trendsetters will be keeping their eyes open for updates. In the meantime, we can probably expect a rainbow colour palette and fierce, eye-catching silhouettes to make a splash at H&M this autumn.
