For fans of Jason Wu, it looks like breaking fashion news is in the air. According to Fashionista.com, the 33-year-old designer is now set to launch a new sister label. Officially known as Grey Jason Wu, the brand will make its grand entrance this spring.

Wu also married his longtime partner, Gustavo Rangel, in Tulum, Mexico this past weekend. While one may expect wedding fever to have taken over his schedule, it’s clear that there’s always time for another fashion venture!

On the newly opened Instagram account for Grey Jason Wu, the New York City-based design talent described his new collection in a caption. According to Wu, the sister line will be suited for ladies looking for a “beautiful, seasonless wardrobe that is neither too edgy or too sweet.”

The designer also shared various sketches from the collection, which offer a better idea of the aesthetic of the upcoming looks. The chic, elegant styles include a casual striped dress, blue shirtdress and tailored jackets.

In another caption, Wu stated that he has also collaborated with American painter and printmaker Hunt Slonem. As part of his partnership with the artist, a few Grey Jason Wu designs feature Slonem’s signature bunny prints, but interpreted into clothing. The springlike pieces include a sleeveless yellow chiffon frock and an intricate jacquard dress.

Since the designer has set to release further details, fashion lovers will have to stay tuned for more information about the launch.
