In November, it was first announced that superstar Beyoncé would be releasing an upcoming athleisure line in partnership with Topshop. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the 34-year-old diva is now officially set to launch her collection, which is called Ivy Park, on April 14.
For her new fashion initiative, the 7/11 songstress has joined forces with Topshop chairman Sir Philip Green. In addition to Topshop locations and Topshop.com, WWD reports that the Ivy Park line will be available at Nordstrom, Zalando, Net-a-porter.com, Selfridges and Hudson’s Bay.
Fashionista.com states that the name of the new dance and athletic wear line comes from the Roman number IV, which represents three important dates in the diva’s life. September 4 is Beyoncé’s birthday, while her husband, rapper Jay-Z was born on December 4. The musical duo also celebrates their wedding anniversary on April 4.
As for the “Park” element of the collection’s moniker, it apparently stems from an appreciation for greenery and urban open spaces.

On Ivy Park’s newly opened official Instagram account, the athletic wear collaboration shared its first two snapshots. In a black and white photo, Beyoncé can be spotted posing in a high-cut sleeveless leotard which is emblazoned with the company’s logo.
The Bootylicious powerhouse also shared a shot from the campaign on her own Instagram account. Beyoncé showcases her enviable flexibility along with her toned yet curvaceous figure, as she balances herself through a series of metal hoops in the funky photo.
