Best Dressed At The 2016 Golden Globes
Last night, a number of Hollywood beauties made a statement at the 73rd Annual Golden Globes at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. From Jennifer Lawrence to rising star Zendaya, here’s a closer look at the best dressed stars of the evening.
Jennifer Lawrence
The 25-year-old Joy star was an elegant sight on the red carpet in a sleeveless red Dior gown which featured side cut-outs and a sleek floor-length hemline. For a finishing touch, Lawrence accessorized her brilliant crimson number with an elaborate Chopard diamond choker.
Amber Heard
Staying true to her glamorous red carpet style, the 29-year-old The Danish Girl actress looked stunning in a flowing, sheer red creation by Gucci. The ethereal sleeveless gown was accented with delicate pleats and girlish floral detail around the neckline and back.
Jennifer Lopez
On the red carpet, the 46-year-old superstar looked youthful and seductive in a deep mustard yellow gown by Giambattista Valli. The surprisingly modest dress featured a high neckline, cape sleeves, ruched detail and a trailing hem. However, a thigh-high slit on one leg emphasized J.Lo’s signature curvaceous figure. Meanwhile, the star accessorized her Golden Globes sartorial statement with a striking 200 carats worth of diamonds. From her Harry Winston diamond wreath necklace to her yellow drop diamond earrings, Lopez shimmered like a true Tinseltown beauty.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum
The 35-year-old actress and dancer (who is married to The Hateful Eight actor Channing Tatum) certainly stole the spotlight in a sparkling navy blue Zuhair Murad gown. Her dramatic frock made a splash with its deep V-neckline, silver embellishment and voluminous hem.
Zendaya
Although the 19-year-old K.C. Undercover actress may be an emerging star, she has already established quite the reputation for her breathtaking red carpet fashion. Zendaya stunned in a rich burgundy Marchesa gown with floral brocade detail and a cinched-in waist. The daring neckline emphasized her slender silhouette, while the structured tiers brought visual interest to her look.
