With the Spring 2018 shows at New York Fashion Week in full swing, we can’t help but find ourselves drawn to the beauty looks for the season ahead. Along with the latest in hair and makeup, runway nail looks have also been making a grand appearance. Here’s a closer glimpse at a few eye-catching manicures, as spotted on the catwalks.

Bright red tips at Adam Selman: At Adam Selman, the signature mani was rich and ruby in colour. Nail artist Holly Falcone used this vivid Orly polish shade to bring a hint of classic red to the runway. Meanwhile, elongated rectangular tips and a glossy sheen offered a timeless, vampy feel.

Minimalism at Kate Spade New York: The Kate Spade New York runway featured pale pink, neutral polish with a single nail accented with a bold vertical black stripe. Created with Deborah Lippmann’s Shape Of My Heart and Fade To Black shades, this manicure was an experiment in ladylike minimalism.

Bold blue at Novis: Nail artist Alicia Morello crafted negative space nails which were adorned with edgy, abstract designs at the tips. Morello turned to an electric shade of blue, contrasted against a neutral nail. She used Louboutin World’s Sweet Charity and Baraboum polish shades to achieve the look.
