With romantic, soft tones being fairly typical of summertime, pink often makes an appearance as a key colour during the warmer months of the year. As we transition from summer to fall, subtle pinks are set to darken, just in time for autumn. In fact, shades of fuchsia, magenta and hot pink are all making an entrance for the changing seasons. If you want to update your pink makeup, look no further than the Fall 2017 runways. Here are a few ways to bring this beauty trend into September, as inspired by the catwalks.

Emilio Pucci

At Emilio Pucci, eyelashes were tinged with dark pink, for a surprising change from the usual black or brown mascara that many of us are used to. The intense, neon pink eyelashes were paired with bold eyebrows and neutral lips, for a wild beauty statement.

Oscar de la Renta

On the runway at Oscar de la Renta, the makeup look was eye-catching and vibrant. Fuchsia eyeliner was layered with pastel lilac eyeshadow, for a softly smudged, colourblocked eye. Meanwhile, bare skin and youthful flushed cheeks completed the overall visage.

Hussein Chalayan

Hussein Chalayan experimented with pink eyeliner, which was blended around the eye area for a brooding, moody effect. To complement the pink-toned lids, rosy pouts and natural-looking eyebrows were also a key look. As a result, the fierce eye makeup seized the attention, and kept the focus on models’ vivid eyelids.
