Last August, M.A.C. Cosmetics announced they would launch a collection in honour of late R&B superstar Aaliyah and we finally have some details on the collection and its launch date.

The AaliyahForMAC collection will be available online on June 20 and in North American stores on June 21. The chic glamour and effortless style of Aaliyah will be represented with a variety of makeup products including lipsticks and eye makeup. M.A.C. shared some product photos on Instagram including one of a rich, nude lip colour housed in stunning packing with Aaliyah signature.

This collaboration (unlike some others) is supported by the late singer’s family. Her brother voiced his support of the idea on a change.org petition stating that he approved of the idea of a limited-edition collection and that her favourite M.A.C. products were the chelsea lipstick, cherish lipstick, chestnut lip liner, espresso eyeshadow and biscuit eyeshadow.
