Victoria’s Secret model Nina Agdal is speaking out on Instagram, accusing an unnamed magazine of body shaming. The 25-year-old model took to Instagram to share her story about the “still very harsh reality” of the fashion/beauty business.

In her post, Agdal explained that after a recent shoot with a creative team she believed in and was excited to work with, her agent was told that the cover/story would not run. The reason given was that it “did not reflect well on Agdal’s’ talent” and “did not fit their market.” The publisher also noted that Agdal’s look deviated from her portfolio and that Agdal did not fit into the sample size clothing provided.

Agdal went on to share her feelings about her body, health and the insensitive and unrealistic pressures of the industry. Agdal’s post has been met with widespread praise and support. See it in full below.
