According to Popsugar, elf on the shelf liner has been crafted by Victoria, British Columbia-based makeup artist Meghan Rusk. Staying true to the spirit of the season, her makeup statement features a tiny Christmas elf perched on the end of black winged eyeliner. With a tiny red outfit and a Santa hat, there’s no denying that Rusk’s festive elf suits the mood of the holidays.

On her official Instagram account, Rusk described creating the little elf out of eyeshadow and eyeliner. With a bold cat eye, she manages to bring her artwork to life, using an eyelid as her canvas.
