Although she may be best known as the fierce and fashionable star of Empire, Taraji P. Henson also stuns away from the screen. With her flawless caramel complexion and expressive dark eyes, it’s no secret that the 45-year-old is just as beautiful when she’s not in character as Cookie Lyon.

In breaking beauty news, Henson is now slated to collaborate with MAC on a new makeup collection. According to Popsugar, the six-piece collaboration will be unveiled in September, to time with Empire’s Season 3 premiere on FOX. The official release date was been stated as September 6, with some MAC locations receiving the collection on September 8.

The star shared a snapshot on her Instagram account, and offered a peek at the upcoming range of neutral beige and brown makeup. The product line includes mascara, blushes, matte lipstick and black eyeliner. With a focus on darker neutral hues, it certainly seems that it may be possible to achieve Cookie’s beauty look for yourself this fall.
