According to Marie Claire, this trend involves highlighting your eyes near the inner corners, in order to produce a wide-awake look. If you’re sleep deprived and hoping to fake the look of beauty rest, eye strobing can help to draw attention away from dark undereye circles and eye bags.

For a natural look, strobed eyes can be paired with glowing skin, tinted moisturizer and a nude lip. However, the luminous look can also easily be transformed into a red carpet statement, with vivid red lips and darkly defined eye makeup. Either way, highlighted and strobed eyes are sure to create a youthful, gorgeous look.

Also known as eye lighting (due to the emphasis on lighting up your lids), the trend is quickly making a splash among the Hollywood set. From young beauties like Gigi Hadid and Zendaya to icons like Jennifer Lopez, eye strobing is quickly gaining popularity.
