While the thought of a burger and fries may hardly bring the idea of glamour to mind, Burger King is officially stepping into the beauty universe with its latest initiative. According to The Cut, the American fast food chain has now opened a spa in Finland.
Unlike traditional Burger King restaurants, this Finnish location features a sauna, along with spa robes which are emblazoned with the chain’s logo. The spa itself has a red, white and blue interior, along with servers who are able to take orders for BK menu items.
Recently, KFC also announced plans to release two chicken-scented nail lacquers in Hong Kong. Following this news, Burger King’s foray into the spa game marks the latest international beauty move by an American fast food company.
Will spa addicts and fast food fans alike be jetting off to Finland this year? For anyone who is craving a Whopper at the same time as their trip to the sauna, this may be an intriguing new idea. However, we’re sure that most beauty mavens prefer to keep their cheat day snacks and their spa treatments separate from one another! In the meantime, it will be interesting to see if Burger King’s franchise-spa hybrid manages to attract crowds in need of both a quick lunch and some pampering.
