Top “Orphan Black” Season 3 Beauty Moments
With Season 4 of the hit Canadian TV series Orphan Black returning to the air tomorrow, we decided to take a look back at the most memorable beauty moments from the last season. The BBC America sci-fi show stars Regina, Saskatchewan-born actress Tatiana Maslany as rebel Sarah Manning, but also depicts the talented Maslany as a number of clones. Of course, playing several different versions of Sarah means that the Maslany stuns with her various hair and makeup looks on the show. Just in time for another season of Orphan Black, here are a few top beauty moments from Season 3.
Orphan Black airs on April 14 at 10/9 p.m. CT on BBC America.
Alison’s sweet bangs and girlish pink lips in “The Weight of This Combination”: In this Episode 1 look, Sarah’s posh suburbanite clone Alison Hendrix looks innocent and effortlessly beautiful. Her brunette locks are pulled away from her visage, with her flirty front fringe offering her a youthful look. Meanwhile, Alison’s flushed rosy pink cheeks and dainty pale pink lip colour manage to complete her beauty statement.
Cosima’s edgy upswept dreadlocks and defined eyebrows in “Scarred by Many Past Frustrations”: As edgy scientist Cosima Niehaus, Maslany swaps her usual smooth locks for a head of funky dreadlocks. In Episode 5, Cosima perfectly displays her unconventional beauty with her raven dreads wrapped into a thick bun. For a finishing touch, her understated makeup and thinly arched dark eyebrows help to define her features.
Shay’s flowing blonde waves and flawless skin in “Scarred by Many Past Frustrations”: Fellow Canadian actress Ksenia Solo plays Cosima’s girlfriend, Shay Davydov, and also wows on the small screen with her classic girl next door looks. In Episode 5, Shay is both carefree and chic with her long golden tresses styled into subtle waves. For a simple makeup look, her youthful full brows, glowing complexion and luxurious eyelashes enhance her natural beauty.
