With Spring 2016 officially upon us, beauty addicts can look forward to swapping their neutral taupe eyeshadow for bright, playful eyelids and subtle shimmer. As makeup mavens prepare to replenish their beauty bags for the season ahead, we’ve curated a roundup of our favourite new spring eyeshadows to bring your lids to life.

1) Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Collection Palette, $59: The newest eyeshadow palette from Too Faced claims to offer a sweet peach-scented fragrance and peach essence, which helps to explain its name. The 18 shades include a series of coral hues, bronzes and peach pinks, for a soft and spring-ready eyeshadow statement.

2) Estée Lauder ‘Bronze Goddess – Summer Glow’ Eyeshadow Palette, $68: As Estée Lauder’s latest eyeshadow offering, this Bronze Goddess palette claims to offer summery colour. The shades range from a blush pink to a shimmering aqua blue, while the compact itself contains a double-sided eyeshadow brush.

3) Urban Decay UD Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette, $70: This bold limited edition palette is part of diva Gwen Stefani’s new collection with Urban Decay, and features an array of 15 shades. The colours range from a pale nude satin Skimp shade to a brilliant royal blue Danger shade. The kit claims to help makeup devotees recreate Stefani’s signature beauty looks, while the eyeshadows are said to offer a velvet texture and intense colour.

4) Chantecaille ‘Spring 2016 – Le Magnolia’ Eye & Cheek Palette, $114: This new palette from cosmetics brand Chantecaille offers a variety of girlish eye and cheek colours. For this product, Chantecaille claims to have partnered with the conservation program TRAFFIC in order to promote awareness of wild plant species. As a result, the shades in this palette all feature a magnolia motif, and feature themed names. The colours include pearly green Leaf, off white Magnolia, deep brown Bark and soft coral pink Wild.

5) Giorgio Armani ‘Spring/Summer 2016’ Runway Palette, $164: For Spring 2016, this catwalk inspired makeup palette by Giorgio Armani claims to imitate the softly shimmering shades from the designer’s runway collection. The kit contains three eyeshadow hues in pearl pink, silver copper and grey shades, along with a rosy pink cheek colour.
