Speaking of throwbacks, one need only look to the season’s Canadian tuxedo for a reminder that the decade of grunge is back. There may have been a time when denim on denim was frowned upon, but the ’90s were the heyday for this oft-misunderstood trend.
Fast forward to the Spring 2017 runways, and we are seeing jean dresses and rompers everywhere. Whether re ned and tailored à la Chanel or faded and casual at Phillip Lim, head-to-toe denim can be surprisingly chic. For its latest appearance, there are no limits to the trend.
