SUDANESE-BORN, CALGARY- RAISED NYA GATBEL moved to Canada with her family as
a refugee, and has quickly experienced quite the popularity on the catwalks. Gatbel has
been spotted on the international runways at Giorgio Armani, Ralph & Russo and Lucio Vanotti, and has most recently been featured
in an ad for United Colors of Benetton in Milan. A quick peek at her Instagram account reveals
a personal style that ranges from little red dresses to furry jackets and dark denim. Meanwhile, Gatbel’s ad campaign and catwalk looks are always fierce, with
her flawless ebony skin and strong features lending her a sophisticated, elegant look. We plan to keep our eyes out for this up-and-coming star, who is sure to make waves in the seasons to come.
