mong the top Fall 2017 beauty trends on our ra- dar was Balmain’s look that literally rocked the runway. Bold styles
featuring a darker edge perfectly suit the moody season. Channelling a chic rocker vibe, Balmain’s fall collection was paired with striking eyes and braided ponytails. Combining edgy yet glamorous styles, the look included metallic accents, smokey eyes and radiant contouring.
The models were erce, with their blacked out eyelids that were accentuated with copper and platinum pigments, completed with nega- tive space wings at the outer corners. This look is inspired by Balmain’s vision of a rock star’s girlfriend, with the use of dark, brooding colours which play up the glamour factor.
Balmain’s models also sported a low pony, with three braids cornrowed down the centre of the head. A sleek ponytail is always chic, but the braided touch makes it a trendy al- ternative to a classic style. To try this hair- style, you don’t need more than a ne-tooth comb to part the braids, and a dab of hair
gel for a awless nish. This look keeps hair out of your face and minimizes static from the dry air that comes with colder tem- peratures, making it the ideal style for the au- tumn season.
