Toronto’s Luminato Festival features some of the top critically acclaimed theatre, dance and music from around the world. Here are our favourite happenings at this year’s festival.

Prepare to be astounded during Scottish illusionist Scott Silven’s illusion-filled show. From magic to mentalism and storytelling, Silven will keep you entertained in the intimate surroundings of Toronto’s Casa Loma. Only 24 guests will be able to watch the show for each one-of-a-kind performance.

  BURNING DOORS – JUNE 20 – 24
This theatre production by Belarus Free Theatre tells the story of persecuted artists in order to open our eyes to artistic freedom and human rights issues across the globe. This will be the Canadian debut for the production that The New York Times called one of the top ten theatre pieces in 2017.
