If you want to spritz on a fragrance this month, humidity and balmy temps will likely encourage you to stick to lighter scents. After all, there’s nothing quite like a heavy, smoky fragrance to irritate those around you in the July heat. Flowery notes are a favourite once patio season hits, and a floral perfume can easily transition from daytime to nighttime. New for this season is Dolce & Gabbana’s Dolce Garden Eau de Parfum ($105), which comes in
a blush pink bottle with a petal-shaped topper and black ribbon. It includes top notes of mandarin, magnolia and neroli, with middle notes of frangipani, coconut and ylang-ylang. Base notes of vanilla, almond silk and sandalwood round out the pretty floral fragrance.
