Those of us who came of age in the 1990s and early 2000s are already familiar with supermodel Kate Moss, who is widely known for bringing a rebellious edge to the runways. Fast forward to 2018, and the British bombshell’s 20-year-old half-sister is now rocking the catwalks, joining
a new generation of models. With her delicate features, porcelain complexion and golden
locks, it’s hard to miss Lottie Moss. In the past two years, the younger Moss sibling has been
an accessories ambassador for jewellery brand Bulgari, has covered Vogue Paris and been the
face of Chanel’s Spring 2017 eyewear campaign. Born Charlotte Moss and raised in the English
village of Lindfield, the young beauty was discovered at age 13 at Kate’s wedding. “When I turned 16 they smoothed me into it and signed me up properly, and the work
increased gradually from there,” says Moss
in an interview with The Telegraph, of her agency, Storm Models, which used to represent her sister as well. “We were careful not to
let it interfere with school, but I could do
schoolwork while I was away.”
Years after leaving school, Moss has grown into
an in-demand catwalker in her own right. For Fall 2017/Winter 2018, she was spotted on the Topshop Unique runway. Off the catwalk, she
can be seen sporting printed frocks, leather jackets and crop tops on her Instagram. We’ll be keeping her on our sartorial radar
as we’re sure there’s lots more to come.
