e 2018 Winter olympics are upon us, and once again team Canada is expected to be strong. is year’s event takes place in PyeongChang, South Korea, and runs from February 9 to 25. Canada is projected to come in third place overall with 33 medals, behind only Germany and norway. Some highlights you won’t want to miss are the men’s hockey (even though professional nhL players are not allowed to participate this year), snowboarding, curling, speed skating and of course real Style’s former cover girl tessa Virtue’s return to olympic ice dancing with her partner Scott Moir. e duo will be Canada’s ag bearers as well, so they will be front and centre throughout it all.

have you ever wondered what the world would be like if Prince Charles ascended the throne? Director Mike Bartlett did in his play King Charles III. After the Queen passes on, Charles nally takes his place upon the throne, and in doing so he attempts to reassert the crown’s power. CAA eatre, toronto, February 10 to March 10.

ever since Big Brother launched in america in 2000, fans have been clamoring for a celebrity edition. in september, host Julie chen announced it was nally coming, and on February 7 it will nally be here, with the show wrapping up on February 25. While it’s not 90 days like the usual seasons of Big Brother, it should still be just as entertaining as the regular show many have come to love. if the show is a success, expect a celebrity edition of Survivor to nally come to fruition next.
