How to Throw A Memorable
END OF SUMMER PARTY
From designing a mouth-watering menu to hanging décor, these tips and tricks will help you host the backyard bash of the season.

The menu is often thought to be the most crucial
aspect of party hosting. Good food has the ability to
put people in a good mood. So, put on your chef hat
and embrace your inner cook. Instead of serving a
heavy sit-down meal, consider serving a variety of hors d’oeuvres scattered throughout the yard. This encourages your guests to move and mingle in lieu of confining themselves to an isolated seat.
CONVERSATION CUISINE
Rather than grilling up the typical hot dogs and hamburgers, provide your guests with a surprisingly light and fresh meal. Sleek marble or rustic wooden charcuterie plates topped with fine meats, cheeses and
pickles make great starters and double as décor. As the leaves have yet to change and temperatures remain high, it is the perfect time to fire up the grill. Throw on fresh vegetables, calamari or sweet pineapple as appetizers. An assortment of salads with zesty citrus dressings pair well with chicken skewers or fish tacos. For dessert, fresh fruit is always welcome. However, if you’re feeling creative freeze a variety of fruit popsicles the night before. Add a touch of rosé or a dash of rum for an adult twist on the youthful treat.
Speaking of adult drinks, the right beverages can be an equally important part of the soirée. Looking to save a little cash? Forego expensive wines and consider becoming your own mixologist. Assemble a range of both virgin and alcoholic blends, served in glass pitchers and country chic drink dispensers. Picture a table loaded with vibrant fruity refreshments and stacks of mason jars partially filled with wild berries. Add a bucket of ice labelled with chalk to complete your very own DIY cocktail station.
BLISSFUL BEVERAGES
What kind of party would it be without beer? The quintessential party drink is practically synonymous with a good time. Instead of going for the big name beers, try a variety of funky craft brews. Display the beers in easy access wooden crates, wheel barrels or tin buckets for a vintage vibe.
