We have been reporting on this live streaming trend that many fashion designers have been embracing.  On Thursday, February 23rd at 4 p.m., Burberry is taking the next step by hosting the world’s first 3D fashion show.

Burberry will be streaming their London Fashion Week show live in 3D to lucky guests in New York, Paris, Dubai, Tokyo and Los Angeles. The invited guests will watch the show in 3D at special theaters designed by Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey.

According to StyleList, Burberry will also host a pre-show party for guests that includes behind-the-scenes, backstage and red carpet footage. The Telegraph reports that the fashion line has teamed up with SKY Television to create the 3D show.

Christopher Bailey said: We are very excited to announce that we are hosting the first ever truly global fashion show. This unprecedented event will enable people to experience the energy and atmosphere of this event from around the world… 3D technology will bring our global audience into the London show space allowing them to see the colors and fabrics, to hear the music and to be a part of that moment when it all finally comes together.

As we previously told you, Burberry will be streaming their London Fashion Week show online here, not in 3D, for the rest of the viewing public.
